International Shipping Guide

Use this guide when returning sample collection kits to EnviroBiomics from outside the United States.

Customer responsibility: EnviroBiomics does not provide return labels for international shipments. Customers are responsible for choosing a courier, arranging return shipping, preparing the commercial invoice, and paying all shipment-related charges.

Shipping steps

Follow these steps before tendering the return shipment to your selected courier.

  1. Choose a shipping company

    Select your preferred international courier. FedEx or DHL are recommended because they can assist with international shipment documentation and commercial invoice requirements.

  2. Use the correct return address

    Enter the EnviroBiomics return address on both the shipping label and the commercial invoice.

  3. Enter the kit description and HS/HTS code

    Each kit type has a different customs description and code. Use the kit-specific information below and confirm shipment-specific requirements with the selected courier.

Commercial invoice reminder: Complete every required field before submitting the shipment. Incomplete or inaccurate documentation may result in customs delays or additional charges.

Use the following kit-specific descriptions and customs codes on the commercial invoice. All kits should be declared at $10 USD per kit.

Important declared value requirement: You are returning collection kits and kit materials, not the value of the laboratory test. Declare the value as $10 USD per kit.

Commercial invoice checklist

Before tendering the package to the courier, confirm that the commercial invoice and shipping label include complete and accurate information.

  1. Select FedEx, DHL, or another international courier that can help prepare a commercial invoice.
  2. Use the EnviroBiomics return address exactly as listed in this guide.
  3. Enter the kit-specific description and HS/HTS code from this guide.
  4. Declare the value as $10 USD per kit. Do not declare the laboratory test value.
  5. Complete every required commercial invoice field before submitting the shipment.
  6. Ask the courier for help with shipment-specific paperwork and commercial invoice requirements.
  7. Contact EnviroBiomics for questions about testing or sampling.

Customs delays and courier assistance

Customs delays and additional charges

Failure to declare the correct documentation, description, HS/HTS code, or declared value may result in customs delays or additional charges. The customer is responsible for any such delays or charges.

The courier can assist with shipment-specific fields, commercial invoice requirements, and paperwork required to move the package through customs. EnviroBiomics can assist with questions about testing, sampling, or kit identification.
