What are the signs of mold poisoning?

Mold is a prevalent issue in numerous residences and environments. In addition to being unsightly and destructive to the structure of the building, mold can also have adverse health effects. Mold poisoning happens when toxic mold spores are present in the Indoor air.

Respiratory difficulties are typically one of the first symptoms of mold toxicity and may include a persistent cough, nasal congestion, frequent sneezing, breathing difficulty, and a tight thorax.

Mold poisoning can induce allergic reactions in some individuals. These symptoms may include watery eyes, irritated eyes, red skin, sneezing, and a runny nose. Depending on exposure to mold and an individual’s sensitivity, the severity and frequency of these allergic symptoms can vary.

Mold can also induce recurrent migraines and vertigo; these symptoms typically occur after prolonged mold exposure and may intensify in rooms or environments with a high mold concentration. If you experience these symptoms frequently, you should consider the possibility of mold poisoning as a possible cause.
